Plant

In its business process, the company receives LNG from the refinery to be distributed back to customers.

The company receives supplies from the Bontang Refinery, East Kalimantan owned by PSC Mahakam and Tangguh, Papua, owned by BP Berau Ltd and the Donggi Senoro Refinery.

03.

Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU)

PT Nusantara Regas' FSRU is located in Jakarta Bay under the name Nusantara Regas Satu with a regasification capacity of 500 mmscfd and can receive LNG ships ranging in size from 125,000 M3 to 175,000 M3. In its operation, PT Nusantara Regas cooperates with Golar LNG Energy Limited.

FSRU Nusantara Regas Satu is a modification of the Khannur LNG carrier. The facility is owned and operated by Golar LNG Energy Limited.

The regasification process begins with LNG transferred from the LNG carrier to the FSRU, then flowed to the regasification unit to change its phase from liquid to gas. This regasification process uses propane heated by seawater as the main heating medium.

The gas resulting from the regasification process has a pressure of 55 bar (g) and a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with the same chemical composition as LNG.

04.

Sub-sea Transmission Pipelines

The submarine pipeline owned by PT Nusantara Regas stretches ± 15 km from the FSRU location to the Muara Karang ORF.

The 24” diameter transmission pipe is capable of distributing gas up to 500 Mmscfd. The submarine transmission pipe is a delivery channel for gas resulting from the regisivation process at the FSRU.

The gas is distributed through a 24-inch diameter submarine pipeline network approximately 15 kilometers from the FSRU to the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) located in Muara Karang.

05.

Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF)

ORF is located in Muara Karang Pluit in the PJB area of 2,100 m2. ORF Muara Karang has 1 input from FSRU Nusantara Regas Satu and 5 outputs for PLN Muara Karang of 350 psi, PLN Muara Karang 620 psi, PLN Tanjung Priok, PGN West Java Distribution and Pertagas Transmission for PLN Muara Tawar.

After being received at the Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF), gas is distributed to the PLN power plant in Muara Karang. On September 1, 2013, PT Nusantara Regas collaborated with PHE ONWJ to optimize the utilization of PHE ONWJ's pipeline network facilities to supply Gas to PLN Tanjung Priok.

With the completion of the Phase II project in October 2014, the company has been able to distribute gas to the PLN Tanjung Priok power plant through PHE ONWJ's ORF facility up to 200 MMSCFD.

06.

GAS Customers

With the use of gas, PLN can reduce fuel subsidies from the government by up to trillions of rupiah. In the early stages, the period 2012-2013, there have been savings of up to Rp15 trillion.

Savings continue to increase in the following years. In addition, the gas is also expected to be utilized by industries in the West Java region.

Gas is distributed to Nusantara Regas customers, PT PLN (Persero), namely PLTGU Muara Karang, PLTGU Tanjung Priok, PLTG Muara Tawar.
